About Us
Over the past decade, Wisconsin consumers have experienced a significant decrease in choices, rights and privacy, while simultaneously experiencing an increase in government intrusion into Wisconsin consumers' privacy.
The WCCC is an advocacy organization made up of over 16,000 Wisconsinites who are committed to advancing and defending consumer choice in the consumer marketplace.
State public officials are working to further regulate consumers and the services they purchase in ways that would severely limit and inhibit consumer choice in Wisconsin. A prime example of this is the 2009 Wisconsin Act 405 which completely eliminated an entire financial option for Wisconsin consumers in the form of auto title loans and placed strong restrictions on short term lending.
The WCCC is committed to limiting government intrusion and monitoring of Wisconsin consumer transactions and data. The WCCC is dedicated to preserving consumer choice and ensuring that consumers, not government, determine what services they invest in.
